Job summary

East Renfrewshire Council’s Education department requires a Catering Assistant at Mearns Primary School for term-time (39 weeks) on a part-time basis. The role covers basic food prep, simple cooking, serving customers, cash handling, washing up, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area.

The schedule is 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2.5 hours per day. Training is provided; prior catering experience is preferred but not essential.
