Qualifications

• Hands-on kitchen or catering experience (schools welcome, but not mandatory).
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Strong awareness of health & safety in busy catering environments.
• Warm, approachable personality with a knack for teamwork.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
• Two solid professional referees who can vouch for you.

Responsibilities

• Chop, prep, and plate up tasty, nutritious dishes following seasonal menus.
• Keep kitchens sparkling and dining halls welcoming with top-tier hygiene standards.
• Manage cashless tills and assist pupils with their meal choices.
• Monitor food temperatures, track allergens, and uphold safety protocols.
• Tackle washing-up, bin rotations, and stock organisation.
