Job summary

RGIT Australia at Woking High School is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant for term-time hours (35 per week). The role supports the Kitchen Manager with baking cakes, pastries, and meal prep while maintaining strict cleanliness and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Catering qualification is required.
• Baking experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Kitchen staff in preparing and baking cakes and pastries.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Assist with stock management and ordering supplies.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager.
