Job summary

Ark Alexandra Academy in Hastings is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our busy catering team. Based at one campus, you will work under a Catering Supervisor, during term-time 39 weeks plus one extra week in holidays, with pay spread evenly across the year.

You will contribute to daily meal preparation, operate cashless tills, interact with staff and students, and support a safe kitchen environment with health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen.
• Hours 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Health & safety and/or food hygiene qualification, or willing to train.
