Job summary

Trafford Council is recruiting School Crossing Patrols across the Trafford Borough. The role is permanent, working term time only (38 weeks per year) with pro rata salary adjusted accordingly, and paid in 12 equal monthly instalments. Training will be provided and a DBS check is required.

We are a Real Living Wage Employer and promote a supportive community environment. Applicants should be reliable and enthusiastic; previous experience is not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
• Reliable and enthusiastic candidates are welcomed.
• A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required and processed for this appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assist children and families as a School Crossing Patrol at allocated locations.
• Ensure safe crossing of roads and maintain a visible, high standard of safety.
