Job summary

St Helens Council is recruiting School Crossing Patrol Operatives to help keep children safe as they travel to and from five secondary and 55 primary schools in the borough. No experience or formal qualifications are required, just a positive, reliable approach and the ability to work with children, drivers and parents.

Responsibilities

• Keep school children safe at crossings.
• Assist pedestrians and manage traffic at designated crossings.
• Work outdoors in all weather and across term-time only schedules.
• Cover mornings and afternoons five days a week during term time.
