Job summary

Thornhill Primary School in Egremont is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join the operations team on a permanent basis. The role is 11 hours per week during term time (40 weeks) and is paid bands A/2 with a pro rata allowance.

You will follow health and safety policies, perform general cleaning to set standards and help maintain a clean, hygienic environment for staff, pupils, and visitors. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning desirable, however full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Undertake general cleaning tasks to specified standards.
• Ensure a clean and hygienic nursery and primary school setting.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
