Job summary

Thornhill Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person to join our operations team as a cleaner. This 11 hours per week, term-time (40 weeks) post forms part of our premises team, ensuring the school is welcoming and safe for staff, pupils and visitors.

The successful candidate will comply with health and safety policies, undertake general cleaning to required standards, and help maintain a clean and hygienic nursery and primary school

Qualifications

• Experience as a cleaner is desirable, however full training will be provided.
• Ability to follow health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Undertake general cleaning tasks to specified standards.
• Ensure a clean and hygienic nursery and primary school setting.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
