Job summary

New Bridge School is seeking a Cleaning Operative to maintain a clean, welcoming environment across its Roman Road campus. You will perform standard cleaning duties, including wiping surfaces, mopping floors and cleaning toilets, with training provided.

The role also involves pool area cleaning and occasional deeper cleans during holidays. The post is part-time (10 hours per week, term-time only, 195 days) with a supportive team and DBS checks in line with safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Full training will be provided.
• Excellent attendance and reliability expected.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, wipe tables and surfaces, and clean toilets.
• Assist with cleaning the swimming pool area and general premises cleaning.
• Join a small team of premises staff and participate in deeper cleans during school holidays.
