Caterlink is seeking a Relief Chef Manager to cover Faversham, Canterbury and surrounding areas. The role is part-time, fixed-term for term-time only, 30 hours weekly, with transport required for a mobile position in multiple sites.

The rate is £13.68 per hour, 39 weeks per year, with DBS and professional standards expected. Responsibilities include food prep, safe service, and supervising site teams, while maintaining budgets and inventories.

Qualifications

• Experience in education sector catering management preferred.
• Term-time only availability required.
• Own transport and valid DBS check advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental laws.
• Support day-to-day running, supervise staff, manage inventories and monitor budgets.
• Implement action plans to meet client expectations and service levels.
