You will provide high‑quality EYFS education, create engaging activities, support planting, water and messy play, and build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues while following safeguarding policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience in a nursery or early years environment.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Create engaging activities based around children's interests and developmental needs.
• Encourage children to explore nature and learn through practical, hands-on experiences.
• Support activities including planting and growing vegetables, water exploration, sand and messy play.
• Make effective use of the outdoor environment to extend children's learning.
• Support children's confidence, independence and social development.
• Observe children's progress and contribute to their individual learning journeys.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating environment throughout the day.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
