Job summary

Phoenix Day Nursery is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to deliver high-quality care and early education in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role is term-time only with immediate start, flexible hours, and progression opportunities. A Level 3 qualification in early years and strong communication with children and parents are essential. You will work as part of a supportive team to help children reach developmental milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in early years education and childcare.
• Experience in childcare and early education sector.
• Understanding of child development and children's needs.
• Ability to carry out observations to a high standard and in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage with parents in respect of their child's development.
• Good customer awareness.
• Commitment to young children and families.
• Friendly, flexible approach.
• Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative.
