Job summary

AD TALENT RECRUITMENT is seeking a reliable Minibus Driver (D1/PCV licence) to support term-time transport for passengers. The role involves driving on designated routes, carrying out vehicle checks, and maintaining accurate transport records. A professional and safety-focused approach is essential.

Hours are 25 per week during term time (approx. 36 weeks). Applicants should hold a valid D1/PCV licence, have minibus driving experience, and be committed to safeguarding and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid D1 or PCV driving licence required.
• Previous minibus driving experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of road safety and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers on designated routes and activities
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic weekly maintenance checks
• Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and roadworthy
• Maintain accurate passenger registers and transport records
• Monitor routes, traffic conditions, and delays
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure safety at all times
• Report incidents, delays, or vehicle faults promptly
• Comply with all road safety, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations
