Uppingham School is seeking a dedicated Minibus Driver to provide safe transport for pupils and staff during term time. The role involves operating minibuses on home-to-school routes, carrying out routine checks and keeping vehicles clean, with training provided.

You must hold a full, clean UK driving licence with Category D, demonstrate confident driving and road awareness, and be able to work flexibly at short notice. This part-time, term-time position averages about 25.15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate the School’s minibuses on home-to-school routes and other transport as required.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of minibuses.
• Prioritise pupil safety and ensure seatbelts are worn.
• Complete training including MiDAS, safeguarding, and welfare procedures.
