Job summary

Coastal Learning Partnership in Poole is recruiting a Minibus Driver to transport pupils between Old Town Infant School & Nursery and Oakdale Junior School before and after the school day. The role is 10 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks a year), with a Grade 4 pay of £13.47–£14.13 per hour.

Start date is September 2026 for a fixed term of one year, with support from another adult on trips and a strong safeguarding checks process, including DBS and references.

Qualifications

• Positive character and enjoyment of working with children.
• Competent, safe driver with a clean licence.
• Driver must have Category D on licence (pre-1997).
• Willing to undertake minibus driver awareness training (2 hours).
• Qualified first aider or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils between Old Town Infant School & Nursery and Oakdale Junior School before and after the school day.
• Support supervision of children during journeys and ensure safety.
