Job summary

Claires Court in Maidenhead is seeking an experienced Minibus Driver to join the Estates Team, transporting pupils safely between school, home and activities. This term-time role runs approx. 36 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, 10:00–16:30.

You will drive minibuses along allocated routes, complete passenger registers and daily safety checks, and report any faults. A Category D1 entitlement or PCV licence and good knowledge of the Highway Code are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid category D1 entitlement or PCV licence.
• Proven safe and confident driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the UK Highway Code.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive school minibuses safely along allocated routes.
• Transport pupils to and from school and activities.
• Complete passenger registers and transport records.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Report faults and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Work with Estates Team to support safeguarding and pupil welfare.
