Job summary

Downe House seeks reliable Minibus Drivers for term-time transport of day pupils. Bank contract with flexible shifts across mornings and evenings; full training provided, including D1 licence and safeguarding.

You must have a full driving licence, at least two years' driving experience, and be willing to work in a rural location with no public transport links. DBS checks may be required and shifts scheduled by routes.

Qualifications

• Full and valid driving licence; at least 2 years driving experience.
• D1 category licence useful; training provided.
• Experience driving a minibus preferred.
• Term-time, bank shifts; availability required.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils to and from the school on a set route.
• Ensure safety, comfort and welfare of pupils during journeys.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance; keep bus clean.
• Report any damage or maintenance issues to the Senior Minibus Driver.
• Promote a professional and courteous image for the school.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; own transport essential.
