Job summary

Downe House is seeking reliable Minibus Drivers for term-time operation with flexible bank shifts across early morning and late afternoon windows. A full UK driving licence is required; D1 category licence is a plus and training will be provided.

Prior minibus experience is welcome, and safeguarding training will be arranged. Shifts run Monday to Saturday with variable routes; health & safety and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Full and valid driving licence.
• D1 category licence preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils to and from the school on a set route.
• Be responsible for the safety, comfort, and welfare of the pupils during the journey.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, basic maintenance and ensure the bus is clean and tidy.
• Report any damage or maintenance issues with the minibus.
