Job summary

Walton Academy is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to support pupils during lunch, creating a safe and welcoming environment for students aged 11-18. You will set up dining spaces, supervise in the dining hall and outdoor areas, and assist with cleaning and resetting spaces between lunch periods.

This role is term-time only, with working hours from 12:50pm to 2:00pm daily, offering a supportive team environment within a large secondary academy in Grantham.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas and manage tables and chairs for lunchtime.
• Supervise students in dining hall and outdoor areas, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Help keep dining spaces clean, clear tables and manage rubbish.
• Assist with cleaning and resetting dining spaces after lunch.
