Job summary

WMJobs is advertising a part-time lunchtime supervisor role at Lyppard Grange, starting September 2026. The post is 12:00 to 1:30pm, two days per week (Monday and Friday) on a permanent contract. Applicants will undergo enhanced DBS checks and other statutory screenings.

The successful candidate will help ensure lunchtime safety and happiness for pupils, supervise play, and support staff in safeguarding duties as outlined by school policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising children during lunchtimes.
• Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Ability to support pupils in play and during activities.

Responsibilities

• Support children in the hall during lunchtime when they are eating and actively encourage and monitor play amongst groups of children at playtime.
• Supervise children in classrooms during adverse weather.
• Assist with safeguarding and welfare of children in accordance with school policies.
