Job summary

Broad Chalke CofE Primary School in Salisbury is hiring a Lunchtime Supervisor to oversee pupils during lunch breaks. This term-time role offers shifts: Monday and Tuesday 12:15–13:15 and Friday 12:00–13:30. You will join a friendly team to keep pupils safe and well behaved.

Duties include setting up the hall, serving and tidying away lunches, encouraging positive play, supervising activities, and providing basic first aid as needed, following school safety policies and behaviour guidelines.

• Have effective communication skills.
• Be able to support children in their play while following safety guidelines.
• Demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard children during the lunchtime period.
• Set up the school hall ready for lunchtime.
• Clear and tidy away after lunch.
• Distribute/help children with their lunches.
• Encourage positive play and interaction among the children.
• Administer basic first aid when required.
