Job summary

Ruishton Church of England Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership Trust, is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant for 10 hours per week, term-time only, 11:30am–1:30pm, Monday to Friday, in Taunton, Somerset. The role involves setting up the dining hall, assisting in serving meals, and supervising children during lunch and playtimes.

The ideal candidate will maintain a calm atmosphere, be a team player, show initiative, and have strong attention to detail. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to gain a full DBS clearance.
• Term-time only role.
• Willingness to support children during lunch and playtimes.

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining hall for lunches.
• Assist the catering team in serving food to children.
• Clear away after the lunch period.
• Assist children during lunch and playtimes; encourage inclusive, fun play.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humour.
