Job summary

Dr Challoner's Grammar School in Amersham is seeking a Library Manager to oversee the modern Library and Learning Resource Centre, supporting literacy, independent research and study for students and staff.

The post is term-time, permanent and part-time with DBS safeguarding checks. The successful candidate will have administrative experience, strong IT skills and excellent communication to build positive relationships across the school; visits are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative position.
• Experience in a library and/or school desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Competent IT user with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the School Library and Learning Resource Centre.
• Support independent learning and provide a welcoming environment for students and staff.
• Build effective working relationships with students and colleagues.
