Job summary

Dr Challoner’s Grammar School is seeking a well organised Library Manager to lead the School Library and Learning Resource Centre. You will support literacy, independent study and research, working with students and staff in a busy school library environment.

Ideal candidates will have administrative experience and strong IT skills, with a positive, collaborative approach. The role is 27 hours per week across 4 days, term-time with some core hours. Applications include submitting to A Halpin.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative position; library/school library experience desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with students and colleagues.
• Competent IT user with good attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the School Library and Learning Resource Centre.
• Foster a vibrant hub for literacy, independent research and academic study.
• Support staff and students in using library resources and facilities.
