Job summary

Hatton Park Primary School in Longstanton is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a one-to-one basis and lead group interventions. You will work closely with teachers and the TA team to deliver high-quality educational provision during term-time, with midday supervision.

The role offers 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am–3:30pm, with a salary in the Meridian Trust Grade 5 scale (£19,463–£20,086).

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C (4/5) or equivalent TA qualification.
• Experience supporting children in Key Stages 1 or 2 is desirable.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in group interventions.
• Work with teachers and the TA team to deliver high-quality educational provision.
• Provide midday supervision and assist with safeguarding and behaviour expectations.
