Queen Elizabeth High School in Carmarthen is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the school. The role is part-time, term-time, and carries an hourly rate of £14.25–£14.70 for 30 hours per week.

The position starts as a temporary/secondment through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, caring and dedicated to helping pupils reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Motivated and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
• Support teaching and learning across the school.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with pupils.
• Support inclusion and engage pupils in learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and small-group assistance to pupils.
• Support teachers with learning activities and pupil development.
• Help create a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
