Job summary

Hazelwick School in Crawley is seeking a Learning Support Assistant Grade 4 to support students in lessons and sometimes work 1:1 or in small groups. The post is 27 hours 30 minutes per week term time only, with hours 8.55am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

The role requires IT literacy and strong literacy and numeracy skills; a good education level and classroom experience are desirable. Enhanced DBS check applies; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education and IT literate with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Classroom experience or experience of working with young people is an advantage.
• Support and training will be provided as necessary.
• Post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
