Job summary

Hazelwick School in Three Bridges, Crawley, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis. The role is 27 hours and 30 minutes per week, term time only, with working hours 8.55am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary is £16,472 per annum inclusive of Crawley Market Supplement. The post focuses on supporting students in lessons with IT literacy, good literacy and numeracy, and the ability to work well in a team; training and safeguarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education and IT literate.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Classroom experience or experience with young people is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support.
• Assist with general classroom tasks and safeguarding policies.
