Job summary

Exhall Cedars Infant, Nursery & Preschool in Coventry is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to support a two-form entry infant, nursery and pre-school with a focus on attachment and trauma informed practice.

The role is term-time only (39 weeks), 28.75 hours for TA plus 5 hours for MDS, 8:45am-3:15pm, with a permanent contract after a six-month probation; DBS required and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Clear, grammatically correct English must be used.
• Ambitious with commitment to give every child the best start.
• Able to initiate ideas and implement them.
• Positive attitude and adaptability to change.
• Strong teamwork and good relationships with staff.

Responsibilities

• Support development and learning in a mixed Year 1/2 class in mornings.
• Provide targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
• Work within an Attachment and Trauma Informed approach.
• Participate in supervision meetings and ongoing professional development.
