Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a part-time Healthcare Support Worker for the School Aged Immunisation Service in Witney. The role involves organising, managing and delivering school-based immunisation sessions, with attendance at schools and community clinics to provide administrative support and vaccinate as trained.

Flexibility is essential, including early starts and travel across Oxfordshire; mileage is paid.

Qualifications

• Trained vaccinator with Level 3+ NHS framework and at least 2 years clinical NHS/Primary Care/Community Health experience.
• Level 3+ and recent immunisation role experience required.
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in schools.

Responsibilities

• Support School Aged Immunisation team to organise, manage and deliver immunisation sessions.
• Attend immunisation sessions in schools and community clinics to provide administrative support and vaccinate as trained.
• Travel across Oxfordshire for sessions; mileage paid; observe students post-vaccination; full training provided.
