Job summary

Katherine Warington School is seeking reliable invigilators to support exam periods. You will help set up exam rooms, maintain calm environments, ensure correct placement, issue papers, invigilate, collect papers, and ensure regulations are followed in collaboration with the Exams Officer.

Attendance at training and refresher sessions is required, with term-time only, flexible am/pm shifts during the academic year.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure during exams.
• Clear and accurate communication with students and staff.
• Ability to follow set instructions and work in a team or alone.
• Willingness to undertake training and refresher sessions.

Responsibilities

• Set up examination rooms and prepare materials.
• Promote a calm environment to help candidates feel relaxed and confident.
• Ensure students are in the correct locations and have required papers and materials.
• Issue exam papers and convey vital information accurately.
• Invigilate examinations and monitor behaviour during sessions.
• Collect papers at the end of exams and hand to Exams Officer.
• Work with the Exams Officer to ensure regulations are followed.
• Provide scribing support for students with Access Arrangements.
• Attend training and refresher sessions as required.
