Job summary

Shevington High School in Wigan is seeking casual exam invigilators to join our friendly team for the administration of public and internal examinations during the academic year. The role is ad hoc, term-time, with 38 weeks per year and a casual, temporary contract.

Excellent attention to detail, reliability and punctuality are essential, and full training will be provided. Candidates should be computer literate and available during December, March and May–June to support exam periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and distribute papers and stationery.
• Observe students during exams and explain exam conditions to candidates.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are followed during examinations.
• Collect exam materials and leave rooms tidy after each session.
• Be available for ad hoc exam periods during December, March and May–June.
