Zusammenfassung

Farndon Fields Primary School is seeking an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide emotional support to pupils, promote positive mental health, and help develop social and emotional learning, working closely with teachers and parents.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, term-time only plus inset days, permanent contract. Salary is Grade 6 pay point 9-10, with starting approx £20,180.37 per annum.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Level 2 qualifications in maths/numeracy and English/literacy or equivalent competency at literacy and numeracy.
• Able to demonstrate competency in literacy and numeracy to level 2.

Aufgaben

• Working with individuals or groups of children experiencing difficulties with emotional literacy or school/home life.
• Establishing supportive, caring and secure relationships with children and offering individual support.
• Develop knowledge of diverse learning and behavioural support needs and plan/implement appropriate programmes to develop emotional literacy and wellbeing.
• Creating and producing resources for intervention programmes as appropriate.
