Job summary

Mildenhall College Academy is seeking a DT/Art Technician to provide technical support to the Design Technology and Art Faculty. The role requires proactive, well-organised individuals who can work independently and collaboratively with staff and students.

Key duties include preparing rooms and workshops, maintaining equipment, managing stock, processing deliveries and invoices, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance. This is a term-time, permanent post based in Mildenhall.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Pro-active and organised.
• Able to work independently and with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms, studios or workshops.
• Maintain and repair equipment and facilities.
• Maintain stock levels of apparatus and materials; stock checks.
• Check deliveries and invoices; liaise with suppliers.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are observed.
