Job summary

Mildenhall College Academy is seeking a DT/Art Technician to provide technical support for the Design Technology and Art Faculty. The role requires preparing rooms and workshops, maintaining equipment, and managing stock levels to support teaching activities.

The successful candidate should be well-organised, proactive and able to work independently, with good communication to engage with staff and students. DBS checks and safeguarding measures apply, with term-time hours.

• Ability to relate well to visitors, staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of rooms, studios or workshops.
• Maintenance and repairs to all equipment and facilities.
• Maintain stock levels of apparatus and materials and re-order as necessary.
• Check deliveries and invoices and refer queries as appropriate.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations and relevant legislation are observed.
