Job summary

Mildenhall College Academy is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our site team. You will perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of classrooms and facilities, ensuring health and safety standards are met. The role is term-time only with after-school hours to support a busy learning environment.

You will work as part of a supportive cleaning team under the supervision of the Catering Supervisor, contributing to a welcoming and safe school for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school/education environment preferred.
• Basic literacy and numeracy required.
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning and sanitisation of the building and facilities.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times.
• Work with colleagues and the Catering Supervisor to maintain cleanliness.
