Job summary

Saint George’s Church of England School is seeking a Cover Supervisor & Sports Coach to manage classroom supervision in the absence of teaching staff and to coach sports as needed.

The role prioritises classroom cover but also includes coaching in Netball and Hockey, with opportunities to contribute to a wide extracurricular programme as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience in Netball and Hockey in particular.
• Ability to deliver high-quality learning in a sports context.
• Commitment to education and sport development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lesson supervision in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring a calm and effective learning environment.
• Provide general classroom cover and sports coaching, with priority to classroom supervision as required.
• Contribute to the extensive extracurricular sports programme, especially in Netball and Hockey.
