Job summary

Fieldstone School is seeking two friendly and organised Catering & Food Services Assistants to join our team. One role is based in Ashburton and the other in Newton Abbot. The positions run Monday to Friday, 11.00am to 2.30pm during term time, providing part-time hours that fit around other commitments.

You will prepare, heat and serve Apetito meals, maintain hygiene standards and help ensure a welcoming dining experience for students and staff while managing stock and food orders.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, hospitality or food service preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training including Food Hygiene.
• Ability to work in a school environment and support student needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, heat and serve Apetito meals following food safety procedures.
• Create a friendly, welcoming dining experience for students and staff.
• Manage food orders, deliveries and stock records; help minimise waste.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
