Sodexo Group is hiring a Catering Assistant at Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue, Scunthorpe (DN15 7RW). The role offers a 16-hour week, Monday–Friday, with a pay of £13.45 per hour, term-time only, permanent and part-time. Join the team delivering high-quality food in a welcoming environment.

The position supports day-to-day food service operations, ensuring smooth service, hygiene and safety, and a positive experience for visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service is helpful but not required.
• Willing to be trained and supported on-site.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with term-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and serving of food and beverages.
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas.
• Replenish food displays and service counters as required.
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Provide friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors.
