Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is hiring a Catering Assistant at Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue in Scunthorpe. The role operates 16 hours per week during term time, with a fixed hourly rate of £12.71. It offers part-time, permanent status and a pattern of Monday–Friday within a busy catering service.

You will assist with food prep and service, keep areas hygienic, and support deliveries and stock while delivering friendly customer service in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.
• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas
• Replenish food displays and service counters as required
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors
