Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a part-time Breakfast Club Cook for Coed Hirwaun Primary School. The role covers 3.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am–8.45am, term time only.

You will deliver the Welsh Government breakfast club guidelines, handle food ordering and service, and supervise catering staff as part of the school catering team. The post is subject to Safeguarding checks, enhanced disclosure, and you’ll work within Food and Health & Safety regulations to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience with breakfast club operations.
• Ability to work within Health and Safety regulations.
• Willing to undertake required training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the free breakfast club in primary schools following Welsh Government guidelines.
• Order and prepare food and serve breakfast.
• Organise and supervise catering staff within the school team.
