Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a Breakfast Club assistant in Ammanford for term-time only mornings. You will help prepare and serve a nutritious breakfast and maintain a clean food prep area, with duties including setting up and clearing tables.

Hours are 3 hours 45 minutes per week at £13.81 per hour, with an annualised pay scheme for term-time staff and DBS checks required.

Qualifications

• Ability to build good relationships with adults and children.
• Knowledge of basic Food Safety and Health and Safety.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food preparation area is clean prior to serving breakfast.
• Carry out general kitchen and dining room duties, including setting up and clearing tables.
• General cleaning duties as part of breakfast club operations.
