Job summary

Repton School is seeking an Assistant Chef to join the hospitality team, delivering high-quality catering for pupils, staff and visitors. The role covers buffets, lunches and large events, working under the Hospitality Chef to maintain 5-star kitchen standards.

Flexibility is needed to support Prep School, Boarding houses and outdoor events, with a term-time only contract and enterprise hours outside term. The position is based at Willington Rd, Repton, with a permanent contract and 40 hours per

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or kitchen operations is preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during term time.
• Willingness to cover Enterprise hours outside term as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare catering items to a high standard in line with the Hospitality/House Chef guidance.
• Work with the Hospitality/House Chef and Operations Manager to deliver services and provisions.
• Maintain COSHH-compliant safety, cleanliness and daily hygiene records.
• Support school functions, events and Enterprise business as required.
