Job summary

St Leonard’s CofE Primary School in Hampstead is seeking a passionate After-School Club Assistant. The role is permanent and part-time, working 13 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 2:45pm - 6:00pm) during 38 term-time weeks. The post includes contributing to a safe, fun environment, providing simple snacks and helping plan engaging activities for the pupils.

Salary is £7,577 (FTE £25,614). An enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or after-school setting.
• Ability to design engaging activities and supervise play.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure is a requirement for this post.

Responsibilities

• Work under the ASC Manager to provide a fun, caring and secure environment for pupils.
• Design engaging activities and provide simple snacks.
• Develop good working relationships with children and parents.
