Job summary

Graven Hill Primary School is seeking a club worker for weekday sessions during term time. The role involves supervising safe play, indoors and outdoors, setting out and clearing away equipment, and providing a healthy breakfast or tea for club children.

The shift runs Monday to Friday from 3.15pm to 5.15pm, with duties including liaising with school staff and parents. An enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Right to work in the UK required.
• First aid training a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe play indoors and outdoors in line with health & safety policies.
• Set out and tidy away equipment for each session.
• Provide a healthy breakfast or tea for club children.
• Foster self-image and self-esteem; build respectful relationships.
• Promote healthy eating and dental health awareness.
• Maintain good relations with parents and school staff.
• Ensure equality of opportunity for all children and families.
• Follow the school's Behaviour Policy.
• Provide basic first aid where trained.
• Liaise with school staff as required.
• Attend training and undertake tasks as directed by the Headteacher or Leadership Team.
