Job summary

Hill View Primary Academy invites applications for an After School Club Assistant. The role involves supervising children, ensuring a safe environment, and assisting with snacks and setup.

You will work with a small team during term-time (39 weeks) at 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with rigorous safeguarding checks. The successful candidate will join a caring, dedicated team focused on providing a fun and supportive after-school experience, with opportunities to contribute to activities

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a childcare environment and being able to cope under pressure is essential.
• Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths
• Level 2 Food Safety in Catering Qualification desirable

Responsibilities

• Supervise children and ensure a safe and caring environment.
• Assist with provisions for the children and prepare snacks as required.
• Set up and tidy the activity area.
• Interact with children and encourage a fun, friendly experience.
• Support pupils across various year groups ensuring safety at all times.
• Prepare snacks and maintain a clean, hygienic area.
