Chigwell Primary Academy is seeking an afterschool club manager to lead our new extended provision from January 2027. The role is 13.45 hours per week during term time, plus 5 INSET days.

You will guide the provision team, engage with children, and liaise with parents to provide feedback on their child’s time at the club. You will bring leadership, child development knowledge, and strong organisational skills to ensure safe, enjoyable activities.

Competenze

• Leadership and motivation of staff within after-school settings.
• Understanding of child development and learning in primary age group.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to design a varied activities programme suitable for different ages.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and safe practice.
• Desirable: Food hygiene certificate and paediatric first aid qualification.

• Lead the extended provision team and oversee daily activities.
• Ensure children's safety and supervise play and learning activities.
