Job summary

Swansea University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Semiconductor Physics and Terahertz Science and Technology. Based at Bay Campus, you will join CISM and contribute to TERACOM with Swansea, Leeds and UCL.

You will simulate, design and develop terahertz devices, fabricate samples in the CISM cleanroom, and characterise them, with results shared in project meetings and journals.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field is required.
• Experience in semiconductor physics and terahertz technologies is preferred.
• Ability to simulate, design and develop terahertz devices.

Responsibilities

• Simulating, designing and developing terahertz devices in the project.
• Fabricating samples in the CISM cleanroom.
• Characterising devices and expanding experimental setups.
• Presenting results and publishing in international journals.
