As a Tendering Team Leader, your main responsibility will be to effectively handle customer inquiries for BRUSH Power services. You will be responsible for managing these inquiries and ensuring successful outcomes for the markets and geographical segments assigned to the department. Acting as a representative for internal stakeholders, your role will involve supporting the sales team and meeting targets while maintaining a positive image for the company.

As a Tendering Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a small team, assigning and managing workload.
• Identifying and assessing the requirements of incoming enquiries.
• Collating and evaluating the resource, material, third-party content, engineering, and production cost of tenders, ensuring appropriate approval and sign off has been obtained.
• Co-ordinating multiple functions in both the UK and overseas to ensure deadlines are met, whilst ensuring an accurate, coherent proposal is submitted to the customer.
• Participating with Sales in discussions with the client.
• Actively contributing towards continuous business and process improvement.
• Managing operational aspects of a technical and commercial tender, preparing documentation for handover to the projects team.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a HND in Business Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years working in a commercial environment or experience of proposals.
• Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Have knowledge of estimating principles, techniques, practices and different types of cost estimates.
• Have effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
• Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
• Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills.
