About the Company:
We're partnered with a growing organisation, offering high quality low & high voltage electrical services to a wide array of industries. They conduct electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance and service works to an increasing number of customers and pride themselves on their approach to providing a quality service.
Joining their tight-knit tendering team, my client is looking for a highly skilled Tendering Engineer to prepare and submit accurate, competitive, and commercially viable tenders to assist with increasing their customer base & project workload. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and have a desire to help with growing the business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the estimation, pricing & tendering of new electrical service projects.
· Review incoming enquiries and tender documents to determine project requirements, scope, and feasibility.
· Preparing cost estimation and business proposals for projects including LV/HV electrical systems, renewable energy, and power distribution services. There's a focus on securing 132KV projects.
· Aim to prepare and submit accurate, competitive, and commercially viable tenders whilst building relationships with customers.
· This role offers the opportunity to work from home most days, with an expectation to be in the office once a fortnight.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role conducting the pricing, estimating & tendering for new projects.
· HNC/HND Qualified in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
· Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure (LV/HV systems, switchgear, cabling, etc).
· Strong understanding of NEC and JCT contracts.
· Full right to work in the UK.
